Panthers robbed tonight :( We were the better team for 65 of those minutes.

The NRL is going to look into the Dogs fielding 14 men during the last few minutes of the match. From what I can tell Ben Roberts was the man that came on, and he scored the winning try :mad:

If it's true they'll have to dock the Dogs the points you would think. Don't suppose there's any chance we could get them?

Thought Sammut was stiffed of a try with the double movement ruling as well.

From what I've heard the extra man was Andrew Ryan and he was on the other end of the field coming off. Don't know how the Dogs can be blamed anyway, there's a 4th offical to oversee the interchange, he should take the blame.

They will still get docked, but the 14th player was just watching the game and slowly walking off. The guy that came on was no where near the action. Common sence should be used, but it wont happen.

If that's the case and both players were involved in the play I would say that they wont get docked the points and will get just a fine.

If they were involved in any way then yeah they will get the points deducted.

Yeah I missed out one word.

It should read:
If that's the case and both players were not involved in the play I would say that they wont get docked the points and will get just a fine.

Yes the Broncos did do something similar but they were not docked any competition points, they escaped with a fine, I think from memory the fine was over 50K.

I think the Dogs will use this case to ensure they don't get deducted any points.

Weren't one of their extra players knocked out and therefore didn't know where he was or the sideline at the time. Whereas in the Dogs case the guy was just lazy and got caught up in the game. Slightly different.

No score either, surprisingly.

Raiders dont look as sharp as normal, no second phase play. Harrison is being shut down well.

If the Raiders can control the ball they will win. Their defence isnt good enough to hold out for another 40 if they keep giving away too much ball, but if they can hold onto it im certain their attack is good enough to score up to 5 or 6 tries.
