That's a huge wicket. Didn't really need to charge down the track, with 9 wickets in hand, run rate was very manageable.

I just hope the White Ferns have learnt lessons from the Australia game two weekends ago.

Oh far out, as I type that Satterthwaite goes :(

COME ON SARA!

Roy gets her 2nd wicket!

61 from 76 with 6 wkts in hand looks easy on paper, but we'll see how this goes.

39.5 Roy to Mason, SIX, dropped, sweeps in the air behind square leg and Priyanka drops it and ball lands on the ropes.

That's how you single handedly lose a game of cricket.

Was a top cameo from Mason though. First chick I've watched that looked like a batsman.

Should be an England-NZ final, which is good, they've consistently looked like the best two teams.

Was good to see England put in such a clinical performance against WI. Our top order are on really good form.

Cricket must have the biggest discrepancy between the men's game and the women's game in any sport.

I haven't played outdoor cricket since I was at school, but I reckon I could get a run as a 3rd or 4th seamer in any of these teams.....I can bowl 105kph and keep it on the pitch.

I can bowl 115km/h and am pretty accurate and I play pretty low grade mens cricket. Go figure. The discrepancy is ridiculous.

Auckland under 15 boys play the Auckland Hearts in a warmup game before their North Island tournament, and win every time. I wasn't allowed to bowl properly when we played them way back when I was u15s.

I don't know about other countries, but in England I reckon cricket has a bigger discrepancy in terms of participation and opportunity for girls than a lot of other sports. It's easy to play football, tennis, hockey, badminton and so on and get proper coaching in a proper club. In cricket it's rare to find a good standard local club competition, or even a team to play in rather than playing in with the boys/men.

Uh, same can be said of the Professional women cricketers. I expect Mithali Raj to hit me for atleast 2 sixes every 10 balls I bowl to her.
Not to the same extent. I doubt you would be able to return one serve out of 100 if Venus Williams was serving to you.
