Keeping in mind Jackers went senile a while ago this was as bad as I've heard him. The agony in Cullinan's voice is a joy to behold as well. Don't know who made the comparison but the Saffie Healy is looking very apt for him.

South Africa going through the motions too much. They don't seem to have the same belief they had down here. Wonder what the odds of 3 zip are? Could be a good shout.

Good odds, they have seemed to lack intensity for a lot of this series. I think winning means a lot more to us.

They've rested on their laurels which is strange because they rarely beat us, you would have thought it might have whetted their collective appetites.

If so, a stunning turnaround (as if, say, 2-1 weren't enough). How many teams have lost at home then annihilated the oppo in the return series?

Yeah it goes one of two ways when someone seemingly reaches the summit. I hope they haven't underestimated the Aussie team but it really looks like they have been a bit complacent here. Wonder if they have anyone in their side who'll give them the rocket they need to get going again.

If someone steps up and they somehow save this match then it could be the thing they need to fire up and win the last one.

Yeah - to be fair to Australia, they probably played more good days of cricket than South Africa in the test series in Oz.
At the MCG it was one dark day which took Australia out - and pretty well the same at the WACA.

Carrying an injured Brett Lee didn't help in those 2 tests - and Krejza is next to useless at test level (first class too?).

Siddle has gained from the experience, and the 'slip ups' we saw in Australia seem to be getting sorted out.

Brings a little tear to the eye seeing South Africa get humbled at home (again!).
[now watch the Saffies orchestrate a massive second dig here and make me look the fool...]

Hughes is making areal diffeence. Hayden was just making no runs and that really hurt the Australians in Aus. They seem to have a revitalised pace attack that can take 20 wickets as well.

If AB wants to do it and they want to bring in Prince then I guess it's not the worst idea.

Have they got anyone better? He seems to have done a solid job. You can't have change for the sake of it. What about de Villiers?
I believe AB has said he doesn't want the gloves because he wants to become the world's best batsman!

Briony- doesn't post much when Oz are having their ass kicked by SA.
Because his a troll. The England series last summer he came in for the first 3 days of the Lord's test, gave it the big I am but was never seen again. He made a comeback for the start of the Australian home series but again went MIA, was seen briefly during the David Warner games but unsurprisingly went missing during the ODI series.

Anyhow back to this game, Hughes is so good. His awful on the eye but two games in and he already looks like his been playing test cricket for years. Neil Mac just waiting for the declaration whilst Ntini and Morne are waiting to be dropped.
