Reversed - not out on referral. Have no idea why. Not because it looked any more or less out than others, but because from what I've seen they generally don't change the lbw decisions - it pitched in line, hit in line so it'shard to see where the evidence was to overrule it.

Now Johnson's gone to slip - refer it Mitch!!!!

I would say that it was a close decision, but if they were following the 'it has to be conclusive to overturn' then it shouldn't have been overturned. It just about hit him in line with off, and was hitting off stump.
Cricinfo says Hawkeye showed it missing the stumps.

Then the Cricinfo guys are on drugs. They explicitly said it showed the Haddin ball just missing. Pretty poor, people trust them to get this stuff right.

Bowling's definitely not good enough for a specialist bowler.
Indeed. McDonald cops too much crap on this forum but under virtually no circumstances is he a better bowler than Bollinger, nor does our lower order need boosting, nor is North good enough as a bowler to render the fourth specialist bowler surplus to the needs of the team.

I think he's a good cricketer - maybe even Test standard given certain conditions and a team balanced in a certain way - but he certainly doesn't fit the balance of the team in his current role.

I initally said that Australia would succumb to the pressure of setting a 1st innings total, i might be right here. But SA have a lot of work to be done from here regardless.
