Well that was a stupid referral, no inside-edge there at all. Edwards hasn't been cost that Pietersen wicket with the drop after all. Nor has it cost that many runs.

right, don't tell the england fans they haven't been playing great to be in this position
He means that due to our shoddy fielding we deserve to be and can' t disagree too much. Would be in a much stronger position had we taken our catches.

Yes, perhaps an easier chance for Taylor off Bopara's hook, than last night's one off KP. Edwards very unlucky, he's still running and giving his absolute best, a resolute character.

Bopara had a spot of luck and hopefully he can cash in, two quite thunderous hooks for four in the over prior to the first drinks break. Think they may be bowling too straight to Bopara, they've seen how wristy he is and stuck a leg slip, but you don't want to get too straight to him as he'll work the gaps on the on-side all day (hopefully).

At least he won't die wondering. Interesting approach in your comback match - lets hope he has the talent to match the bravado.

Great play from Collingwood keeping Bopara away from Edwards. Ravi's heart rate was visibly up, not ideal for batting.

Does Bopara have an offside game at all?
If they bowl straight to him, then no he'll work plenty to leg side, he's a wristy player. But offered width that Benn did before and he'll cut or drive through the off. Certainly favours the leg side.
