Just the Benn one awhile ago.
Benn one? It went between wicketkeeper and slip, same as that Powell\Taylor (forget which) one a minute ago. Wasn't a chance, was just something that would've been a chance if slip was finer.

Only actual miss today then has been the Gayle one at slip to Stauss? Hinds to a small extent making-up for that, that was an excellent take.

He needs to forget the pull shot, although he probably didn't deserve the hundred.

Edit: Beaten to it by superkingdave.

The one that Cook hit up in the air and Benn dived late.

I think the point made by Botham in the tea-break was not that it was a drop as such, but that he thought the fielder was in totally the wrong place.

11 fifties since his last test century for Cook. The only explanation I have for that last shot is that it has become a serious mental block for him.

Probably he was. Nonetheless, with the fielder where he was, that was never, ever being caught.

Complain about the fielder being in the wrong place, not the fact the edge was found.

And he was dropped in both of his most recent 2 Test centuries as well - in the 50s and 60s, amazingly enough. The last time he made a chanceless one was against West Indies at Lord's at the start of the summer of '07.

TBF, he was also dropped in his debut century (though he had 70 by then) and also innumerable times in that awful innings against Pakistan at the start of the 2006 series.

Well done. :)

BTW, I've always thought it's ridiculous that anyone calls Charlie Griffith a "great" or even "good" bowler. He was essentially a two-series wonder. Wesley Winfield Hall on the other hand had been excellent for a long while before Griffith entered the team.

Ha, Shah looking for a single last ball of the over. Not a ****ing chance when batting with Pietersen.
