Really?

Since when? The opening post with the rules doesnt seem to have ben edited to reflect this and I thought we were supposed to think "outside the box"?

I was not aware that a player had to have played an ICC sanctioned game for that nation. So under this, Roger Twose (for example) couldnt be English despite being born and raised there?
Yeh I thought this would be a rule too, I think the rule should be either player for them in a match or was born there. Seems to me that the draft was started just so you could pick Katich for Croatia.

I put up the new rules for countires on page five after guys asked for rules that can be enforced better:
http://www.cricketweb.net/forum/cricket-chat/41619-domestic-cricket-draft-5.html#post1830892

I couldn't edit the first post, but I thought most guys would have read the thread. The orginal plan was to allow guys to "think outside the square." But everyone wanted similar rules, so I provided them. If you guys said something back then, I would have considered including players born in other countries, but it is bit late now.

Also Twose would count as English under the rules, it the guys that played under irish that never played for ireland that don't.

Was considering picking Botham as a Queensland local.
