Agreed, that wafty off drive was totally out of character... lets not forget that Chanderpaul is God, he'll stick around and so will Sarwan don't give Gayle much hope, he looked all at sea against the new ball despite the way he got out not being directly due to the new ball...
I reckon if Windies can get past this day losing 1 wicket there's still hope... Smith looked comfertable against the new ball and Sarwan's been solid/Chanders will be determined and Nash is a good character for this kind of situation... not all over by any means.

Sure you could find a decent accy there... just out of interest and a bit off topic what is the most anyone has made betting, for me it's £550 on betfair... put £50 on Murray winning US open at start of tournament then laid it all and put the money from that on K-fed... a piece of betting genius it was!

It's about £220 for me on South Africa beating England in the tests over the summer at 6/4. Most of the stake was from those free bets you get when you sign up to a website. Thankfully I have nowhere near the same amount of money on England this time round, despite having been equally certain they'd win.

Am hoping England can post 150 or so more, declare mid-afternoon-session, then West Indies can bat until there's 6 or 7 overs left, with England taking the final wicket at the last gasp, with Chanderpaul getting 140 or so, Gayle and Smith adding a decent opening stand, Hinds getting a few and Flintoff blasting the tail out of the way to finish with 4-109 and Swann ending with 6-140 or something.
Unlikely, obviously. But it'd be a thriller if it happened.

Would I be the only English fan to not be at all disappointed if Cook & Anderson both fell in the next ten minutes?

Yes. Cook needs some runs and if you don't get them on this sort of pitch you never will. Anderson, though, as I say I wish that catch had been taken last night. He could've been done to have been outta the way first thing this morn.
On the other hand, if he plays 4 overs or so, lets Shah get his eye in and then he comes out and blasts 78* faultlessly, that'd be good too.
