Hartley. What a champion! Would have loved him to stay to the end, but about time he got another ton. Has been in the runs this season. Hopefully Harris can get us across the line here.

Heck, anyone is better than Doran. How he keeps getting in the side baffles me.
Note: I have never seen him actually bowl, I am going by what I see on scorecards, read on commentary and by word of mouth and what I read here and a few other forums.

Doran a good bowler and as good if not better then most spinners in Australia. He just never gets a bowl. There is a reason why he kept Hauritz out of the Queensland side, who from attacking POV isn't bowling much better then he was back then.
IMO if he got a decent bowl he would be close to being the 2nd best spinner in Australia behind McGain. Massive call but he can take good wickets and doesn't bowl as many four balls as Bailey, Casson and Crazy.

Probably says more about how many four balls other bowl, then how accurate he is though.

Never heard anyone praise him so much.
He should bowl at his captain more in the nets.
By the way, for those who follow Brisbane/wherever Doran comes from grade cricket how does he go there? Obviously it's a pretty big step up from grade to interstate but I'm interested at how he performs.

Doran's not that great of a bowler. Really don't see why he continues to get selected.

Yet another State game goes down to the wire, fortunately we were on the right side of the result this time.
Cleary bowling 40 overs for one lower order wicket is a bit dissapointing. Whether Bailey got a bit 'lucky' in the first innings or not, if he didn't play we would have most likely recorded a draw (taking into account different scores from Qld in their first innings).
