Sometimes it's a basic technical flaw where he falls awayThe most annoying thing is he bowls good yorkers, and length balls, but from nowhere he comes up those short balls and slower balls, i think someone like Cooley should have worked on stuff like this with him.
Was pretty good in the first game though, but has been anything like his usual self in the last two games, and Australia' bowling in the batting power-play has been pretty poor too right through this summer.Bracken has been garbage in the last 3 games as well - seems to have dropped his bundle not that it's obvious jis chances of test selection are about as high as mine
Nah, Ponting will bowl White.Hopes bowling the last over should be interesting.
Or perhaps he was uncharacteristically effective in the first game and has returned to the status quo since then..Was pretty good in the first game though, but has been anything like his usual self in the last two games
AWTA, Johnners has also been a little unlucky imo. Had 2/3 chances not quite go to hand, and a couple of edges for 4.Johnson back to his best today.
EDIT: Top effort from Taylor though, fantastic. Has really looked serious and in charge this series.
already had 10 hasnt he? or so cricbuzz tells meHopes bowling the last over should be interesting.
Nah, 9 overs 2/28.already had 10 hasnt he? or so cricbuzz tells me
cricbuzz lied to me ...at work and not near a tv...yet.Nah, 9 overs 2/28.
Mathematically can't go for more than 6.5 runs per over.Nah, 9 overs 2/28.
He's talking about Brax.Or perhaps he was uncharacteristically effective in the first game and has returned to the status quo since then..
He's never been a particularly effective OD bowler even for Tasmania.
Give up plzHandy innings from Mills, I guess he's not your average run of the Mill tail ender.
Ahh I see, fair enough. 99% of his posts in this thread today have been about Hilfenhaus though so I was unlucky. He's talking about Brax.
Quite the statistician.Mathematically can't go for more than 6.5 runs per over.
Yeah that too and i think there is a concentration problem too, we usually associate concentration with batsmen, but with bowlers too the concentration and patience to work over a batsman with a particular line or plan is important.Sometimes it's a basic technical flaw where he falls away
At other times, he seems to forget he's a swing bowler
