its still an old ball rite with dirt removed ??Big moment here in the match imo. If Australia take a few with the second new ball, it could make a massive difference.
Reconditioned was too hard to type.its still an old ball rite with dirt removed ??
They are right in doing infact but they would not have lost too many wickets..Most frustrated I've been watching for some time NZ tbh, not just because of the score of 5/145, but the lack of intent they've shown the whole innings. Just happy to block deliveries to the fielders. Surely they would have learn't from Australia's approach batting first the other day when they were proactive in putting the NZ bowlers off their lines
Bracken over the wicket. Just hope now he flings them down without many slower ones. Should be a wicket.
Good.Broom & Cumming 4 off 20 balls between them
Despite the fact that he's beaten him, and on any other ground in Australia he's taken a wicket?Again Hilfy bowled two very good balls and was getting the ball to reverse, but out of nowhere he felt the urge to use that slower ball, why can't he just bowl balls that are working well for him, rather than trying to show off all his variations in a single over.
Its hardly a reconditioned ball, its just a new ball that gets scrubbed by sand-paper, Lee once said a lot of times these balls that are given to them after 35th overs still have ball markers name written on it, so its virtually a new ball with the lacquer taken off it.Reconditioned was too hard to type.
Yeah, I only really see him as a finisher at this stage, although he did play a good innings in the first ODI under pressure.Broom had no idea today. Rough diamond. Hasn't looked the batsman he could/hopefuly will be this series, has been unlucky but getting a lot of starts and not converting.
Very originalBroom: got swept up in a shot he shouldn't have played.
