Second Match - United States vs Cricket Web 'A'

Day One - leg-spinner stops CW in double figures
Nine Cricket Web 'A' batsmen reached double figures after Cricket Web 'A' chose to bat, yet they were skittled for 278 after leg-spinner Nasir Javed had five men caught off his wily bowling. Nadkarni's belligerent half-century saw the United States close the day with a slight advantage.
It should be noted that the Webheads mostly threw their wickets away - after choosing to bat, the openers survived for seventeen overs, but the edifice quickly fell down as four men were out caught. Imran Awan dropped a simple return chance, but that was really it as far as fielding errors are concerned; Wright held five catches and ensured that batting first had not paid dividends. Davis, the standout bowler of this North American leg, ensured that he did not add many runs to the tally, but Nadkarni ran away with a fine 48 to leave the US perilously close at the end of day one.

Day Two - Marshall, tail torments Webheads
It'll be a long comeback for Cricket Web 'A' after Rashard Marshall played his knock of his life, only four days since the last one. Twenty-five boundaries helped him register a remarkable 203, as the US nearly doubled the Cricket Web total. A little bit of help from the umpire ensured that Cricket Web are still without loss at the end of the second day, however.
A galore of dropped chances and wide bowling saw him reach 71 by lunch, and he was then dropped twice upon reaching the second century of the series. Yet, the United States continued to build the lead, and it will be the inability to get the tail out which will grate the Webheads. When Cush edged Cunningham behind, the US were still trailing and had only four wickets in hand; however, they were allowed to double their total, largely thanks to the innumerable chances given to Marshall. Corrin eventually had him lbw in the 117th over, but the scoreboard read 512 - a massive effort is required to come back from here.

Day Three - Bowen stands tall as CW falter
A good start was thrown away by the middle order, with Kearsley, Morris and Corrin all falling in single figures and providing a difficult task for the remainder of the order. Rob Bowen lashed out, but incredibly ran out of partners despite only keeping out 96 deliveries during his blistering innings. Heath Davis took a wicket with his first ball, but the United States only require 90 runs to tie the series.
Imran Awan took a wicket with his fifth ball of a new spell, stopping the opening partnership at a healthy 110, but there was little consistency from then on. Bowen, coming in at five, tried his best to maul bowling that was hardly consistently excellent, but was not helped by a scourge of batsmen failing to settle. Nasir Javed continued his first-innings haul after bowling unchanged through the second session, reaping three wickets, with Corrin's two off 26 balls the most excruciating. Cunningham fought well enough, making 42, but after that there was no support for Bowen, and Baker and Imran took out the tail before Carl Wright and Steve Massiah saw off Davis to end the day.

Day Four - Massiah brings the victory home
A brief intermezzo from Cunningham and Amir could not spoil a confident seven-wicket win for Cricket Web 'A', as it seems the future of Test cricket in CWLand is bleak. The second successive loss to an Associate surely can not be good for the confidence of the XI. Steve Massiah was imperious, registering 67 against wholly toothless bowling. Severe questions will have to be asked of the Dev League standard after this tour.

An absolute ****ing joke. I'm personally devastated by these losses. No fault can be laid at the feet of the Captain. Our fielding let us down and if we'd taken our catches, we'd have won all three tests easily.
I'm absolutely fuming at this and will be demanding additional fielding drills to be added into coaching sessions this season.
