Day Two - Massiah takes charge amid showers
A freak outbreak of rain in Miami resulted in a stop-start second day, where Martyn Corrin converted his overnight five to a decent 33 before falling as second-last out at the stroke of lunch. Corrin and Shah added 56 for the ninth wicket after Muhammad Amir was run out early in the morning.
Heath Davis took a wicket in the third over, with Fitzsimmons snapping a sharp chance at first slip, but Massiah played solidly to leave the US in a good position after two days of the five-day game.

Day Three - busy day for Chaulk as Marshall clinches lead
A freak outbreak of rain in Miami resulted in a stop-start second day, where Martyn Corrin converted his overnight five to a decent 33 before falling as second-last out at the stroke of lunch. Corrin and Shah added 56 for the ninth wicket after Muhammad Amir was run out early in the morning.
Heath Davis took a wicket in the third over, with Fitzsimmons snapping a sharp chance at first slip, but Massiah played solidly to leave the US in a good position after two days of the five-day game. Rashard Marshall, a heavy-hitting émigré from Jamaica, chose this match to break through with an outstanding knock of 124 not out. Opener Wright also carreid on his not-out score, while another West Indian, Lennox Cush, made a more patient 55 to anchor the innings.
Cricket Web 'A' struggled to take wickets yet again, with only Davis a perennial threat, and Ash Chaulk taking care of three chances; evil tongues noted, however, that a better keeper would have taken a half-dozen. After Marshall's assault, particularly on the new ball, Corrin took the ball with only half an hour to spare, and found some spin to remove the tail. Nick Scott hauled a six over midwicket in the final over to end the day on a high note.

Day Four - Corrin, Donald to the rescue
Poor shotmaking on the fourth morning sent Cricket Web 'A' into tatters at an effective score of 59 for five, but Martyn Corrin found some unexpected spunk to set the stage for yet another thrilling chase in this North American leg of the tour. Most of the batsmen struggled to settle, with Ash Chaulk's run out as the most embarrassing moment; Scott's attempted hook shot that found Dhaniram instead of bringing up the fifty was not a moment fans at home found thrilling watching, either. With a brief slog from Bowen, however, the tourists got up some runs, and pushed onwards from there to leave the match poised evenly once more.
Cricket Web 'A' took lunch on 149 for six, with Bowen having just smashed out once too many for 45; Imran Awan had taken the first and last wicket of the session, with Baker and Nasir finding pace in the sessions between. Yet, by playing each ball on its merit - and smashing it when necessary - the seventh-wicket partnership grew. It took an hour to reach fifty, but only another half for the hundred, and by tea the batsmen had both got their fifties, the partnership had amassed 138, and Corrin was five runs away from notching up the third figure in the scorebook.
An edge off the new ball did it; Corrin's play against the pacemen in wearing light left something to be desired, and he was eventually nelsoned by Allen. Baker tore through the tail, leaving the US needing 319 runs to win the match. With a couple of chances missed by the Webheads, 270 of those runs are left for tomorrow.

Day Five - Corrin completes dream haul
Cricket Web 'A' should have had the match in the bag when the US had crashed to 170 for eight. Yet again, though, the team failed to close out the last-wicket stand, but tireless work from Corrin eventually brought its reward as the number ten, Imran Awan, was given out lbw on 67, falling 21 runs short.
Manan Shah gave Cricket Web a good start, and after Thyagajaran and Nadkarni had smashed a rearguard, Amir struck twice and Corrin had Nadkarni lbw to leave the US reeling at 144 for five. Davis then steamed through the lower order, and Allen inside edged Morris; the US required 149 runs with two wickets in hand.
The last three hours were fascinating, though largely through inept cricket. Imran Awan loaded sixteen in a widiwash over off Amir, largely off the outside edge, then was dropped by Bowen on 32. Another wily slider from Morris clattered the stumps of Marshall, though, and the US still required 75.
Corrin decided to give himself the chance to bowl unchanged through to tea, taking over from Donald, but had little luck early on. Shah and Amir both had a catch dropped off their bowling; then, in the last over before tea, Corrin found a little more control, gave an arm ball some extra pace, and deceived Imran to secure a narrow, if uninspiring, victory.
