Fair play to the Irish. Monkey off their backs as les frogs are something of a bogey team for them.

Best you can say about us is we're less dire than Italy. Harry Ellis was a plus and our tight five had the better of things, but that's as far as it goes. Our first three tries all down to Mauro Bergamasco to a greater or lesser extent. It's surely a no-brainer that you don't play a flanker (who doesn't seem to be able to pass) as a scrum-half? It'd be like opening the bowling with Matt Prior. God knows what Mallett was thinking.

France are playing some dream stuff. O'Gara is pure ****e.
You really think that? He was out-half for the European champions last year. And is the biggest points-scorer in Heineken Cup history. Solid but unspectacular, but any northern hemisphere team would take him in a heartbeat in my not-wholly-unbiased opinion.

Yea, reckon there was a good chance Italy would have beaten us without leaving Bergamasco in that position all of the first half, even if he'd been took off or moved after 10 minutes it would have given them a decent shot.

England were completely clueless attack-wise, managed to play with 14 men for 20 minutes and gave away penalty after penalty. A good side would have annihilated us.

Webster's knocked himself out on Martyn Williams's shoulder. That'll teach him to go in high. Williams scarcely blinked tho. Tough little ginger Welsh bastard.

Always amusing watching the jocks in a great attacking position, you know they're going to **** it up but it's just a case of how.

Yeah, he can’t tackle and has a habit of going missing. Had a terrible first half against the French, kicked aimlessly and missed one absolute sitter of a kick.

Just watched the highlights of the Welsh game and Andy Powell has to be my favorite NH player. Strong as an Ox, lighting pace, quick feet and strong in the tackle. He would be awesome in S14. Surprised to see his 27, where has he been?

Yeah but I mean, it's pretty much the only kick he's missed in his entire career. I can't think of a better out-half in the Northern Hemisphere (although there's quite a few outside it now that I think about it...)

We've picked a team to try and slow it down and starve Wales of ball and opening and opportunities.

Inside three minutes we have given away two moronic penalties (and there were two offences at the second). We don't have the discipline to play kill-ball and we don't have the ability or confidence to play with flair. Armitage trying a drop goal from 35 yards after 25 seconds tells its own story. Could be watching from behind the sofa soon.

15 minutes and they've got someone sin-binned for repeated infringements.

****ing idiots.

Just drop every one of them who gives away a dumb penalty.

Send 'em off to the army, Guantanamo Bay whatever.

Should be two scores ahead now, instead of 1 point behind. It's so irritating.

Curate's Egg so far. Worsley's been immense, but some of our decision making has been shocking.

5 point game with 18mins left tho. Can still do this.

Impressed with this Armitage guy, never seen him before obviously. Would be a massive upset if England won though, Wales a massively better side.

England generally have been better, they've just been so dumb with penalties and getting men in the sin-bin.

6 penalties to 1 given away in your own half. And Wales' one was only 2-3 yards inside their own half. Most of England's have been completely pointless too, not a case of last ditch stuff.

Wow 6-2 now and he missed the kick.
