Siddle to replace Tait? Or do we play safe and make sure he doesnt injure himself again?

His got the same chance of getting injured playing for Victoria, hasn’t he? Unless he isn’t going to play anymore after this game…

Only caught the second wicket he got, was a fair nut.

McGain has bowled well. Bit worried about him touring South Africa now, his more than half-decent.

Crayfish on! Hope he can make an impact.
Bowling decently atm, really has a great chance to make that Aussie ODI spinner spot his, he is a pretty handy batsman and if he can bowl decently, so he has a very good chance, Doherty and McGain have also bowled well, the pitch does have some bite in it for the spinners.

Nah.. you mark my words, Voges would play ahead of Ferguson on Friday.

I agree McGain, or for that matter any decent spinner should be playing for Australia in the ODI games, the Aussie bowling in the middle overs is too predicable, and one-paced to really trouble the opposition, and a spinner could help change that, my top 3 picks for the ODI spinners job would be Haurtiz, McGain or Doherty.
Words duly marked. Oh, wait ;)

That was a reverse mocker to make sure Ferguson plays...:)

Would probs have won that if Rogers didn't go down.
Yup, but Vics are missing Dussey, White and Hodge pretty badly atm, their expectations of winning all the three titles at the start of the season seemed very realistic.

Though as soon as Hodge, White and Hussey have gone out of the equation, all that has changed, likes of Finch, Wade and Crosthwaite need to step-up in their absence and support Quiney and Rogers.

As for today's game, i think three blokes stood out for the Tassies today, Birt, Geeves and Doherty, Birt was the only reason the Tigers reached that sort of a target, and then Geeves and Doherty were excellent in the batting powerplay to finish any hope of a Victorian win.

WA are currently 5/36, after their top order was destroyed by Haberfield, Cleary and Christian.

How embarrassing.

What is the go with these sides. I count four specialist bats in both sides. One of them is a 17yo kid and another is fatso.

Why is Mark Cosgrove back playing for South Australia, hadn't he turned his back to Australian cricket?
