BARNES OUT
Clarke was one of the best ODI batsmen in the world little over 12 months ago.
That's not good enough for Precum-brain.Clarke was one of the best ODI batsmen in the world little over 12 months ago.
Surprised you haven't suggested he go to anger management classes.Yeah mate team songs are great for team unity and everything, but if the vc of your team after 5 hours of celebrations is saying "okay guys lets get it done with as i have to be somewhere", and for a matter like that i don't see any reason why Katich would have had to get physical with him.
Katich needs to control his anger imo, even in India he reacted in a very OTT way when he had an run-in with Gambhir, but there is no excuse for this, i don't know how its very different from Akthar-Asif or Harby-Sree Santh episode, the only difference is that maybe Katich might have been drunk.
Oh dear.He never was a good ODI player
Yeah, remain stuck in two years ago, ok?That's not good enough for Precum-brain.
Well not long back a certain guy tried to find his home, to be all at sea, quite literally, during a seemingly important team get-together.Actually, moving on from Precam's trolling efforts, I have to say that in all seriousness, Katich hopefully has got his arse kicked, and has hopefully had a very good look at himself, including how he handles his booze/anger, following this incident. I'm assuming here that the version that was presented in the media is accurate, which is a big assumption. But if it is true, how the **** is trying to choke anyone, let alone a teammate, an acceptable way to behave.
The whole boozy culture of the team is a bit dire if truth be told. Why is it necessary to get absolutely smashed to celebrate a win? It's not like Clarke had refused to stick around for a drink or anything. It's his home test match, its presumably a rare chance for him to catch up with friends before they're back on the treadmill, and he's stuck around for five hours. Truth be told, it doesn't matter if he was sitting there saying "you guys are all c****, and your song sucks ****", attacking him physically is ridiculous.
Oh... mate i just didn't want to piss you twice in one week...Surprised you haven't suggested he go to anger management classes.
I can understand. That would hurt. From what I hear Geg's a big bloke.Oh... mate i just didn't want to piss you twice in one week...![]()

Haha, so where are we fighting then?I can understand. That would hurt. From what I hear Geg's a big bloke.
Yeah, and what's the deal with celebrating till all hours after winning a dead rubber?Actually, moving on from Precam's trolling efforts, I have to say that in all seriousness, Katich hopefully has got his arse kicked, and has hopefully had a very good look at himself, including how he handles his booze/anger, following this incident. Perhaps because it was their first match of 2009?Yeah, and what's the deal with celebrating till all hours after winning a dead rubber?
Very rarely I guess. That's a good point; if it was a series win then fair enough but really, it's the sort of thing that people (rightly) have a go at the English for
You consider midnight "all hours"?Yeah, and what's the deal with celebrating till all hours after winning a dead rubber?
