Road to IPL 2009.

Flintoff 1.55 million to chennai
So that makes him the most expensive player in the IPL, right?

Despite the popular belief that Tait is poor pick, i think he can prove to be the most dangerous bowler in the tournament, and playing under Warne's leadership is only going to help, but don't know whether any Aussie player is worth much value for this season considering they are only going to be available for last two weeks of the IPL.

Haha, you getting a commission?
Wish. Just happy that a man has made enough money so his mum doesn't have to work again (she works in a library...). I couldn't care less about what he does in the IPL. He should treat it like Dale Steyn did. Have a few good games, demonstrate you are the best in your side but don't work too hard. There is bigger fish to fry...

Not being able to two games in a row will curb his danger...

Yea, agreed. I am interested to see where this leads. If this becomes a legitimate product with ever-increasing amount of money, the franchises are going to start getting antsy about stuff and maybe ask the players to 'think about' resting more during the international calendar so they are at peak performance for the IPL. It'll be sad day if that happens, but if IPL gets bigger, that's what will happen -franchises are going to demand to be the centerpiece of a player's calendar. If you're (for example) a SL player making $150,000 and someone offers you $2,000,000 a year for two months, it's hard not to take it seriously.

I'm pretty happy with Tait at that price... Rajasthan have got a solid set of players already, and can do with adding a couple of bowlers. Have they picked anyone else up?

Flintoff (Y).

Man having Oram, A Mokel and Flintoff all in the same side is pretty awsome depth in batting and bowling if we play them together. Also gives us a good opening bowler if Ntini fails again.
