BARNES OUT
PLEASE SHUT THE **** UP EVERYONE.
Goddamn.
Goddamn.
Yup, that's what i said, a player is entitled to make an appeal whenever there is a relatively close call, and nobody can take that right away from him, and tbh i don't believe their is anything wrong for a player to go up in appeal even when they are doubtful.I don't agree with this.
However, if he has even the slightest of feelings that there has been some deviation, then he is well within his right to appeal.
That's basically what an appeal is. "How was that?"
sorry don't have the link to show thatThe batsman did walk
No-one appealed, it was just out. Bowled.
Wrong. Snicko did pick up a noise. It was small, and it came after the ball passed the bat, but it was there.McCullum was the only one who appealed and there was absolutely no reason for anyone on the field to think that Dussey hit it. There isn't a shred of ANYTHING to explain why McCullum would think he hit it.
Yeah, and then he went. Because he was BOWLED.sorry don't have the link to show that
but surely batsmen was confused and looked around
Must've been so small that I can't see it on my TV on repeated viewings.Wrong. Snicko did pick up a noise. It was small, and it came after the ball passed the bat, but it was there.
He's heating up.Why have they not picked Lee Carseldine? Is it because he's 33?
Well said sir.PLEASE SHUT THE **** UP EVERYONE.
Goddamn.
I know!Well I'm a mod.
It'd take me ages, so I thought I'd ask what everyone else thought before just going ahead and doing it.
Heating up?He's heating up.
Would have taken the load off him then.If Haddin had "appealed", everyone would have looked at him like "wtf", the umpire would've been like "um, it's bowled", and the result would have been exactly the same.
Age, you were spot on.Heating up?
Bowled?ITSTL.Yeah, and then he went. Because he was BOWLED.
You don't appeal for bowled, you celebrate.
And even if it didn't, snicko isn't infallible. The third umpire isn't allowed to use it in the referral system, is he?Wrong. Snicko did pick up a noise. It was small, and it came after the ball passed the bat, but it was there.
It wouldn't have made a bit of difference whether he'd said "howzat" or "y@y we got teh wicketz", it was a bowled ffs, the fielding team goes in a huddle and the batsman leaves.Would have taken the load off him then.
Ah cool. Shame though, I love those 'hard-luck' stories.Age, you were spot on.
Very true, I thought I heard one too.And even if it didn't, snicko isn't infallible. The third umpire isn't allowed to use it in the referral system, is he?
I thought I heard a noise when it happened live.
But now I'm off to watch some TV.
spot teh ausseh.please shut the **** up everyone.
Goddamn.
