Il give you a list of why studying the video isnt relevant

a) He took the ball in front of the stumps and that is a no-ball.

End of list. Everything else doesnt matter
Oh yeah, noone's trying to say it wasn't not-out. Just that Haddin wasn't blatantly cheating because when the ball knocks off the bail direct from the bowler's hand you don't think, "wait, was part of my glove in front of the stumps there? better not appeal."

Of course you do. Its obviously not right. He knows its not right. He knows where his hands are, he knows that the ball has made contact with his gloves etc.

He knows it isnt out and that he had no business being there. If he didnt then he is no wicketkeeper.

There is no way he didnt know that was all wrong.

Was already stated that his gloves were in front of the stumps, thus shouldn't have been given out, yet the laws of the game state it is up to the umpire to govern this rule. The argument about the video is to define the distinction between 'mistake by encroaching' vs 'cheat'.

Banned
That doesn't show the whole thing. He actually took his hands away to reveal a ball lying motionless on the turf, then picked it up and ran off celebrating.
Yeah, looking for a better clip. Was a terrible appeal indeed. How he escaped ban, go only knows.

BTW Crosthwaite escaping also is a bad precedent considering Greg Dyer's career ended in ignominy due a similar incident in a test match against England off Andrew Jones.

The world knows that all the Pakistani Players are big cheaters in the game when the situation needs them to cheat.....

Said this before on here, but the worst "claimed catch" ever is Roger Harper off Michael Bevan in the ODI where Bevan made 70 odd and won it by 1 wicket with a last ball four. Ended up lying down with his body between the ball and the umpire on the pitch, and picked it up off the ground and claimed the catch, in full view of Bevan. Was amazing stuff.

edit: Found it, haha. This video, about 4:25-4:50 or so. Amusing stuff.

wow this one is even worse....dhoni that is..what a cheat and celeberation...lolz

YouTube - Is Dhoni a cheat?
No it's not - you don't see the clip of Akmal looking at the ball lying on the ground, and then picking it up. Different deal altogether. Clarke etc have all claimed bounced catches - if you actually play cricket, you'll know that it's really hard to tell sometimes. The difference is that Akmal's "catch" was the stationary ball taken off the grass.

Stop making up crap excuses. Why not just admit that the Pak team is full of cheats? Why the complete lack of introspection?
