Don't think anyone accused him of that.

But he must have known his gloves knocked the bails, I think it was poor stuff by him to celebrate the wicket.
yeah he would of known and pretty poor - nothing will happen but that is crucial - cannot wait for radio sport 2moro

Don't think it was a no ball.
Was a no-ball.

Laws of the Game said:
3. Position of wicket-keeper
The wicket-keeper shall remain wholly behind the wicket at the striker's end from the moment the ball comes into play until
(a) a ball delivered by the bowler either
(i) touches the bat or person of the striker
or (ii) passes the wicket at the striker's end

or (b) the striker attempts a run.

In the event of the wicket-keeper contravening this Law, the umpire at the striker's end shall call and signal No ball as soon as possible after the delivery of the ball.

It should be a no-ball if the batsman didnt hit it. The keeper cant take the ball in front of the stumps unless the batsman hits it.

Simple as that.

There is no way (unless he is completely gormless) that Haddin didnt knoe what happened, or at least had a fair idea. Pretty poor effort.

Intentional or not, if Haddin knew it was a mistake, should have called him back.

Wonder this will get reported as Latif's infamous catch claim did.
Well in real time it happened very quickly, it's not necessarily the case that he knew anything was wrong.

Tbh Radio Sport, depending on the show, can be bloody horrible.

That sounds like TV1 news.

Even tonight (my Dad recorded the news and we watched it in the innings break) they said "it's 4-52...expect a 200 run partnership now."
