Hmm if CricInfo is right that was pretty dumb the established bat running to the non-striker's end for the next over.

(that was for end of over 48, not 49)

That was poor management of the strike towards the end by Kandamby. Wasted a couple of deliveries himself too, trying to be cute attempting to glide legside deliveries down towards third man.

Good win by India though, despite those stubborn bails. I don't think Sri Lanka have lost two ODI series in the space of a single year at home, so it would be a tremendous achievement if India win this series in addition to the recent one. Mendis seems to be losing his touch too. Just 4 wickets in Pakistan, and just 2 at the death in this series so far.

lets see the lankans umpires were horrible, their stumps were really fishy(ICC should check into that) but we still won

West Indian and Indian umpires have been worst in their countries. Indian umpires played a great role in Kapil Dev's wickets at home grounds.:laugh::laugh:
As if pakistani umpires were nuetral.Easily the reason Imran's best figures and lillee's poor figures .And Miandad's average . I can go on and on...

Everyone who bats first in Colombo wins. Statistically you're four times as likely to win the match if you win the toss.

Sri Lanka were lucky to only be chasing 256, and then needing 32 in 4 overs they choked but the blame should be with the tail they are more experienced than Kandamby should have helped him out. Fair play to him scoring 93 is something Mubarak can only dream of in an international match of quality.

Indians were too good for us. And Mahela and Kandamby were too slow. They should have hit the **** out of the part timers like Pathan, Raina and Sehwag.

If SL wants to win, they should make India a 4 bowler team. Any part timer should disappear when ever introduced. Good example can be taken from Raina, once Dilshan was introduced, smashed him for six right out of the screws.

Kulasekara is a good bowler to bowl at conventional batting. For unorthadox players like Sehwag or Gambhir, it calls for a change. Malinga or Fernado might do the trick with their extra pace, which will take them out of comfort zones. Dammika Prasad last time got these two hopping around in the test series, why not try him as well.

Not a particularly good example IMO given Raina got out to Dilshan playing a terrible shot.
