Not just that but look at this:

Duminy is not black - he is coloured. There's a huge difference in SA, as I'm sure the SAffers here can detail about.
Yeah it ticks me right off, and unfortunately they do it non stop in this country. Same with Obama for example, he's coloured ffs!

Well, the US doesn't have the same cultural classification as SA. In the US, Obama would be (and is) considered black.

:-O. Thats crazy yo. The both are black, i have a white popps & a black moms as well.

Of course in Obama's case they are technically not 100% black, mulatto as they say over here. But they like myself, they live the African culture full out..

My point was that in SA, white, black and coloured are very distinct racial classifications with legal ramifications. For a writer to say Duminy stands up for the "overwhelmingly black minority" in SA is nonsensical and completely inaccurate. It makes as much sense as Obama representing Latinos in the US.

Haa, no son. Modern day African culture i.e listen to hip-hop, (if your of Obama's ilk jazz, james brown, stevie wonder etc), play baskett-ball, party alot, threat women as disposable objects. Favourtie footwear would be jordan, air-forces, timberlands, like big jewellery.

Those are probably centred a bit towards the vanity & materialistic part of the culture, but you get my point...

So why is he called "Aussie" if he's comin' straight outta Compton via the UK?
. I see we have a fan of the Docter, lovely...

I thought that was well documented. Became an automatic cricket fan at 8 years old, after the popps took me to the Old trafford test of 97, saw Waugh's brilliant second innings hundred & magic of Warne in bowling stride

Thus creating a crazy interest in the game & the Australian team & i've supported them ever since along with the native England. Since my race doesn't have genuine interest in cricket in this country (except for T20s of late)

But some on the lads down under on here CW, think thats wack so their all up in my face ever so often. Its all good though my life is full of confrontations, so im always ready to battle..

ANYWAYYYYYYY thats too much OT chat damnnnn, back to cricket ASAP. Before the calvary comes storming into this thread

But none of those traits relate to modern day African culture at all, perhaps African American culture but certainly not African culture, not even close.

It may orginated over there. But ever African all over the world since the mo-town days of the 60s has adapted that culture. Obama & Dumminy will be considered black everywhere surely.
