a) Pretty sure that they are the figures for the Sheffield Shield.
b) Tait has missed some games during the year due to injury, so probably won't feature on the highest wicket taker lists.
These are SS game stats...

EDIT: Beaten.
Sorry. Here's the right one

Yep, he's got a pretty good record. So has Geeves, Laughlin, Bird, Dorey and Harwood.

Harwood has impressed me to no extent in the 20-20 Big Bash. I guess he might get an IPL offer this year?

Harwood is a good bowler but early-mid 30s so his time has already passed

Basically, Oz need to wait until players get fit because then Siddle, Lee etc walk in

Harwood and Geeves are the only good bowlers in that list, Harwood has missed the bus due to his age (though i think he should have played for Australia, he would have been a much better choice than Mick Lewis), whereas i guess Geeves would have played in this series had he not been injured.

Laughlin is an interesting one. Old man played for Australia; he's looked alright whenever I've seen him. Tough to get under, very skiddy.

Am sorry if I sounded anti-Aussie. Just couldn't stand such shutbox comments like Bracken being the best EVER ODI bowler etc. A bit on the nerves since Social's defence of Symonds' latest antics. But that's no excuse for me to rant. I apologise.
Bracken is a world class but naah I wouldnt rate him higher than Polly atleast! He has not even played 100 games...wait and watch!

Congrats to the South African team. To win so convincingly without their best player really is an excellent effort. Outplayed Australia in every single department.

Botha's captaincy and especially his bowling have been brilliant in this series. Australia's biggest problem, the middle order and overs have been a direct result of his bowling and we are yet to see moments where we would question 'why did he do that?'

That was a pathetic showing by Australia. Kept checking the score during the countdown and after some initial hope, it just kept getting dire. Drop Warner and open with Hopes and bring Hauritz in. D. Hussey isn't good enough to bowl one over, let alone the mass of overs he bowls. I think his bowling average is now over 100. Tait also is a specialist 20/20 bowler, don't think he should play any more, and Hiffelhaus just doesn't look up to international standard. Be glad when our first XI is fit again.

Poor fielding also done by the South Africans in those games. Punter and Marsh have been dropped countless times. Swings and roundabouts...

Yes and SA should have won that Hobart match had they decided that Albie Morkel was allowed to face more than five balls.

Amazing how often Punter has won the toss. Don't know why they bother going out there. Oz should just pad up and off we go.
