Stepanek is a good solid player but Verdasco is looking super, I think hes dropped less than 10 games in the tournament so far. Think he'll win in three tight sets.
You could be right but I think Stepanek will offer something completely different to the two Frenchman so far.

I think the game will go to five sets, Stepanek to win, but lose the round after against Murray.

Do I think Stepanek will win? No.

Is Stepanek a good value bet? Definitely. He almost always is, because he'll always be competitive.

Stepanek is a great bet, IMO, because he's super fit and will cause Verdasco a heap of trouble IMO. Verdasco in good form, but I think he's going out here.

Not just that, he gets in his opponent's face, and we saw that trouble Verdasco in the Brisbane final.

BARNES OUT
Watching FS3 and they were showing highlights of the Federer/Safin epic from a few years back. That was one of the best matches I ever watched, would be awesome to see Marat do it again.

Think Verdasco has his game in order, in the past he's always had a problem of being one paced. From what I've seen of him this summer he seems to be able to go up and down in agression when needed.

I remember that well. Was proper plastered at the R-e and was loved seeing Marat pull that one out. Can't see a repeat happening again tonight though.

I have that match on a DVD. My favourite tenis match along with Rafter vs. Ivanisevic Wimbledon 2001.

Yeh, I have nothing against Murray personally, I like the fact no Brit has won a slam in 60 odd years, it's just funnier this way.
72 for men's, tbf, although only 32 for women as Ginny won Wimbledon in 77.

Has Dokic decided she's an Aussie after all now then? Wasn't she representing Serbia a while back?

She came out and spoke about it in the press conference, saying she regretted denouncing her representation of Aust years back, blaming her father etc. etc.

At the end of the day, who gives a **** though? Nationality has meant **** all in tennis IMO, except in Davis Cup, and the fact that most of the top players don't participate shows they don't care that much about it either.

If you like Dokic, you like her whether she's Serbian or Australian.

Disagree. If someone denounces their "Australian-ness", then I'm not going to ****ing support them. I know this wasn't quite the case with Dokic, but I certainly support players from my country ahead of those from others - her denouncing changed that.

Why? Why don't you take personality traits or game style into it considering its clearly an individual sport? Why just, oh they were born here, I like them. What if they're dickheads like Philippousis?

Its like the Bosnian fans who suddenly got behind Delic today. Firstly, he's 'officially' representing the USA, and secondly, I bet they don't give a **** about him for most of the year and only suddenly cheer him in the Australian Open.

Wawrinka was paying well vs. Berdych tonight. I got on, I hope he gets up! Especially since Hantuchova let me down (despite that being a good bet too).

No, what I mean is that if they denounce the country - that's something I don't like about them. I would support a player when they are Australian more than I would support the same player who has denounced their citizenship.

I have money on Wawrinka also. He's started very well. *Touch wood*

Not sure she was really in control of the decision though. Willing to give her the benefit of the doubt IMO.
