Turn off the TV, both good players are gone now, here come the out of form accumulators.

Think Sri Lanka have mucked up their team again. If they had just picked 4 specialists, and replaced the dire Mubarak with Mathews who can chip in with some overs, they could've left out Thushara and bolstered their batting.

Where did I say that? I said the two goers (Dilshan and Jayasuriya) were gone so there would be a runrate dip and players from the out of form middle order would come in so obviously the scoring wouldn't be as fast. Form =/= quality.

Mahela probably needs to concentrate on batting alone and leave captaincy. He is going through a run similar to which he went through in 2003 world cup

Great comeback from Pakistani bowlers. Good to see Akthar's efforts to reduce his weight and looks pretty fit. The score would have been much worse had Younis Khan and Afridi took the dollies.
