TBH though there been plenty of talk of him leaving Milan recently. I seriously doubt he would be that emotion about it. Yeah maybe the fact that it might just happen, rather then talk might have hit home. But I seriously doubt he would be crying about it.

Reckon if City where signing more high quality players he would have gone already or if the guys there looked more then just mid table.

Some interesting stories doing the rounds.

As Kaka looks almost certain at this stage to join Man City for £108m, Milan tend to use the money on the following: Emmanuel Adebayor - £30m, Gael Clichy - £12m, Michael Essien - £30m. This isn't a real life version of FM?

Whilst City also are looking at bringing in Inter's Marco Materazzi which is doing the rounds in the Italian Press. It is also doing the rounds that if Adriano and Hernan Crespo both join Tottenham then Gareth Bale and Jermaine Jenas (which was reported yeasterday) would go to Inter in return.

Whilst there's nothing wrong with the content of that article - it is, after all, based on a direect quote from Berlusconi - that headline is dire journalism at its worst. The headline implies that Berlusconi has confirmed that a deal has been done, whereas the reality is that he's stating a reluctant acceptance of the fact that City's money will probably lead to Kaka wanting to leave.

Either way, very interesting. This transfer could spark a wave of activity, with over £100million being suddenly injected into the market.

Pretty sure he was crying at the prospect of playing for side as crap as City, not leaving Milan. Him leaving Milan been on cards for a while, as he not completely happy there.

More likely to be crying at his projected income tax bill. probably about £80k a week. No matter what you earn, thats gotta hurt

As it is he gives massive amounts of his income to charity so i don't imagine it'll be his first concern.

Extremely happy with that win, especially because of the heart they had to show (still, Zaki, wtf how'd you miss ****!?).

Managed to turn it over and catch Chelsea get out of Alcatraz. Stoke deserved better from all accounts.

One of those iritating games today at Griffin Park. We had a man sent off (for no good reason) after just 8 minutes and were 1-0 down just a few minutes later. Still we fought really hard and a lucky last minute goal means our unbeaten run continues.

The Kaka deal is insanity. He's good, very good even, but £108m worth of good? Nah, that's walking through a shopping centre naked from the waist down arguing loudly with yourself level madness.

& Given Hughes's strike rate with the Brazilians under his command so far I imagine Sparky is probably already wondering how to spend his severance money. If I were Citeh's new owners I'd make a Kaka-esque bid for Siralex. Just because I could.

Couldn't Kaka just put his money in a Cayman Islands bank account and withdraw money when he needs it?

I watched Kaka's game for Milan (maybe his last one?) v Fiorentina and he looked like he had something on his mind and after the game all the Milan players came up and hugged him, maybe as a goodbye. In other news, David Beckham did nothing except getting a yellow carded.

Although I highly doubt Citeh is the destintation Kaka has been dreaming of all his life (it isn't just yesterday he was saying how he loved the style played by Utd and Arsenal) but you'd have to be a bit of a mong to turn down that much money. Think of how many favellas he can turn into churches with attached football school he could build with it.

Also reading that the 100m transfer fee was a stunt by Berlusconi to make it look truly an offer that can't be refused and the figure is probably a lot closer to Zizou's world record fee. Would make sense and if so I could definitely see Real trying to hijack the deal.
