Stoked my final pick made it all the way to me. Was tossing up between an allrounder to give me a better fifth bowling option, but none of those left were good enough (although one South African came very close). Instead, going to trust Imran and my three specialists to do the job, and the combination of Hammond, Simpson and Chappell to act as a fifth bowler if required - and select another batsman. Hadn't looked at this guy until after I made my 10th pick, but now I'm thinking he's a real steal at pick 11.

Vijay Hazare will be my final selection. The mountains of runs he scored in FC cricket in India suggests he was great against spin in favourable conditions, and his success against Australia, not to mention a young, fired up, Fred Trueman in full song, suggest he could cope with the fastest of bowling as well. The one thing he couldn't handle was the pressure of being captain and the one top-class batsman in his team, with the consensus seeming to be that his batting suffered significantly under the strain. In my team, he comes in at the end of a great top order, and leaves the captaincy guff to Taylor and Imran.

One of the better teams that...3 among the absolute greatest players of the game in Imran, Hammond and O'Reilly backed by 8 other greats...More importantly, no even slightly mediocre players there...

Ernie Toshack for my final pick please. His tight economical bowling (Economy Rate: 1.88) will allow my other bowlers to attack from the other end and his record of 47 wickets in 12 tests at 21.04 suggests that he was a good wicket taker as well. Further adding to his appeal is that he could bowl spin as well if the conditions dictated.

I'm pretty soked with how my team has ended up, I may have liked a bigger named bowler but I think I have one of the better sides in this.
