Sinclair is averaging over 100 in both forms of the game this summer and still doesn't get a look in and doesn't even appear to be close in the selectors eyes.
That's what happens when your entire career has been made up of a string of protracted failures at international level. Still, I'd select him in the team, if only to bring a bit of experience and form to the top order.

I said after last year's Napier test that he shouldn't be selected again. Not only the poor scores, but the slow agonisingly painful innings that he forced on us against England.

I couldn't care if he was averaging 1,000 at First Class level, he's had his opportunities and let NZ down time and again.

If Sinclair's recalled, then England should play Hick and Ramprakash... Again.

I've heard numerous people comment that Kane Williamson was a class above any player in that Eng v NZ U19 series last year. He is seriously good.

Oh and congratulations to Jimmy on a match winning all round performance ( 3/39 and 69) in the U19 national final.

*cries*

Oh well, we'll learn from this. At least we went down to a team that brought out O'Brien and Elliott though, even if it does have Athers and Bahnzy there. :p

Congrats to Jimmy Neesham. WAG. Demand his inclusion in the Auckland senior team.

Thanks guys. Damn umpires robbed me and Kirk (opener who got 63) of bringing the game home ourselves. Both got fired!

Ahh well a win's a win!

Guppy..... WAG.

HA!

Burn!
You're just jealous you don;t have a Diamanti. :p

Typical though, let Matt Bell of all people score big against us after shutting down way better players all championship. James bloody Marshall will probably ton up against us next week. Would have preffered a gun like Franklin getting the hundy tbh.

I wonder why Croft only bowled 3 overs, his figures of 1-11 look pretty good.

Wow, Jimmy carved up. Congrats to that man.

Congrats also on being selected in the U19 team to play domestic A teams next month! Do us proud!

Elliot playing an excellent innings. 62 from 59 with a 6 and a 4.

Southee and Boult being held back with 4 overs each to bowl.

Any idea when the Otago/Auckland match is due to start?
