He too good for us, we surrender.
Know the feeling. He too good for us, we surrender.
Shakib = A more fit Ramesh Powar. The Asian Gary Sobers
Flintoff who?
Don't embarrass the next big thing by comparing him with a guy who earns his living by eating and bowling pies.Shakib = A more fit Ramesh Powar.
Less weight also means there'll be fewer tremors when the hype dies and he comes crashing down to earth in due course.

eh???Second best Slow left armer since Hiren Varaiya
Look him upeh???
I suppose it is a bit embarassing for Powar, but I don't think Shakib is mediocre enough to deserve that pie tribute.Don't embarrass the next big thing by comparing him with a guy who earns his living by eating and bowling pies.
You misunderstood me I said next big, the Powar lad is already pretty big.I suppose it is a bit embarassing for Powar, but I don't think Shakib is mediocre enough to deserve that pie tribute.
It wasn't a misunderstandingYou misunderstood me I said next big, the Powar lad is already pretty big.
Shakib has bowled to the toughest SA side ever.
Graeme Smith is a worthy comparison to those two imho. AB Dev is a good player of spin. McKenzie is an excellent player of spin.
AB de Villiers v Graeme Pollock
Neil McKenzie v Barry Richards
Have not seen him bowling that much to really comment, but hey his stats are all against top quality teams.I've read a little about this guy and noticed some of his performances. How would you describe his batting and bowling? Is he really that good?
Thanks.Have not seen him bowling that much to really comment, but hey his stats are all against top quality teams.
His batting is blessed with the typical Bangladeshi dash and fervour, plus a non-Bangladeshi commitment not to throw his wicket away. Composed yet not afraid to take on guys like Mendis and Murali.
imho not.Graeme Smith is a worthy comparison to those two imho.
