When will South Africa play Sri Lanka in a test series again?

However do you think that South Africa have little to no chance of losing any other series? Personally I wouldn't be at all surprised if they lost at home to Australia.
I'll be exceptionally disappointed if they lose at home to Aus having beaten them away, but no, one in SL wouldn't be the only one I'd think they had a chance of losing - just the only one I'd think they had a good chance of losing. I'd still think India, if they didn't prepare a green pitch for one of the Tests, would have a very good chance of beating them currently. In the series in 2007/08, they handicapped themselves severely with the surface they prepared at Ahmedabad.

Very harsh on Sangakkarra and Jayawardene, both are superior to any the other batsmen you mention.
I still think it's highly debateable that Mahela Jayawardene is better than Aravinda TBH - Ranatunga and Tillakaratne you could argue more.

Only Sangakkara in my view is clearly superior to Aravinda.

Migara, surely you know that Sangakkara has already played more back-to-the-wall innings than Tillekaratne.
They have played quite an equal number of tests. But Tillekaratne definietly played more back to the walls innigs than Sangakkara. He was the SL version of Steve Waugh

Reckon its more an issue of consistent support of Sanga and Jayawardene.

Hobart test is the perfect example. Jayawardene tonned up in the first innings, and Sanga scored a 50. Sanga is scoring runs freely in the se dig, but once Jayawardene is out for a golden, it looks curtains.
In test matches the "spark" which I am talking is less evident. Come to the ODIs, Sangakkaa and Jayawardane are miles behind de Silva and Ranatunga. Sanga ans Mahela has SRs coconmparable with an average batsman, while latter were clearly ahead of the era with their SRs. Averages of all four are pretty similar.
