With nearly 70,000 posts on this forum (probably 70,500 by the time I'm done writing this post) I wonder how you manage to find the time to even blow your nose, let alone go to the gym.

Err - I've had 14 full months, broken down into various chunks, where I haven't posted on CricketWeb AT ALL.With nearly 70,000 posts on this forum (probably 70,500 by the time I'm done writing this post) I wonder how you manage to find the time to even blow your nose, let alone go to the gym.
Congrats on doing the maths... thats dedication. You know that's 335 posts per active week...
Well done. Given that the average post takes about 10-15 seconds or so, work-out how long that is per day. If it's more than a couple of hours, I'll be surprised. You know that's 335 posts per active week...
Happy to see you admit how much thought and planning goes into your posts, ideas and theoriesWell done. Given that the average post takes about 10-15 seconds or so, work-out how long that is per day.
Not a matter of being "better", more a matter of the priorities people have in their life to be fair.Err - I've had 14 full months, broken down into various chunks, where I haven't posted on CricketWeb AT ALL.
I just happen to be better at fitting posting into my time than some people, clearly.
Helps explain calls such as the nonsensical selection of Vettori opening the batting in his best NZ 1998-2008 ODI side tbhHappy to see you admit how much thought and planning goes into your posts, ideas and theories
This took you 10-12 seconds to type, right? Right? If other people can't post that many times while also making time to do the other things they enjoy, that makes me better at posting TBH.
It helps, of course, that I'm someone of few pleasures. I couldn't really care less for something if it doesn't involve: working (for which I'm paid, or will be graded); gymming it up; using my computer; watching or talking about cricket; or having a drink or six (out or in) with my mates and some good music. As long as I've got those (and I have, and always have had, and am unlikely to not do any time in the immediate future) my life could not be more enjoyable and as I say, I couldn't care less for doing anything else.
Ahahah you flatter yourself. I'm just messin' witchu. Don't get too worked up, lil fella!character assasination
Labeling it 'character assassination' is a tad over the top isn't it?As I've said before - you really don't have a clue of the first thing about me. I doubt you care that you make yourself look utterly foolish to me, but equally, no-one cares about your attempts at character assasination directed at me, so I suggest you stop spamming the forums with them.
Photos like that can be deceptive with the different angles etc etc, that said, your bang-on, I remember seeing them standing together at Eden Park a few years and Oram definitely had 1-2 inches on FultonHere we go- Oram and Not-quite-2 metre Peter
Photos can be deceptive but that's not a bad one, imo that photo pretty much rules out the possibility of Fulton being as tall as OramPhotos like that can be deceptive with the different angles etc etc, that said, your bang-on, I remember seeing them standing together at Eden Park a few years and Oram definitely had 1-2 inches on Fulton
IMO the only thing that photo proves is that Fulton is/was fat.Photos can be deceptive but that's not a bad one, imo that photo pretty much rules out the possibility of Fulton being as tall as Oram
If you're using a standard such as BMI to classify that, I am sure you will find a great deal of athletes are, in fact, "overweight".IMO the only thing that photo proves is that Fulton is/was fat.
On the subject, apparently 12 out of the 14 Black Caps are overweight officially. Interesting.
OK, you're clearly not familiar with his post history if you think there's the first thing light-hearted about said comment. It's not good humour, it's not tongue-in-cheek, it's not anything other than an attempted snide comment. And one about which I honestly could not give a gibbering jive, as people who know nothing about me attempting to cast aspersions on me (in any way, to whatever degree) rarely do. Not, at least, when they're acknowledged by most people as types to take little notice of.Labeling it 'character assassination' is a tad over the top isn't it?
Seems to me he was just pointing out that you spend an incredible amount of your free time on this forum. Given the fact that you do, I'm not sure why your reacting so defensively to be totally honest, unless of course your embarrassed about it or something like that.
I'm sure his original comment where he stated he'd be surprised you'd have time to blow your nose, let alone spend time at the gym, was made 'tongue & cheek' and would have I thought you'd appreciate the good humor.
The light 'banter' that occurs on this forum is one of the best things about it IMO & surely you'd expect someone with nearly 70,000 posts to be the recipient of the odd light-hearted jibe about it. I really think your being overly sensitive on this occasion.
