Associated Australian Press said:Moody blasts selectors for North non-selection
CRICKET AUST (PERTH)
West Australian coach TOM MOODY has accused the national selectors of running scared, blasting the non-selection of MARCUS NORTH while also questioning the decision to stick with out-of-form opener MATTHEW HAYDEN.
MOODY was left bewildered that Victorian all-rounder ANDREW MCDONALD got the nod ahead of NORTH to replace the injured ANDREW SYMONDS for the third Test against South Africa in Sydney.
MOODY says NORTH, who has plundered 485 runs at an average of 44 in the Sheffield Shield this season and has also taken eight wickets, deserved selection after a standout season.
