Shakib should be nurtured, he could be one of the best all rounders in the world in the future. With 11 wickets @ 20 is the best spinner in a series in South Africa since 2000. Pipping the likes of Shane Warne and Muttiah Muralitharan. You also have to take into consideration that Shakib has bowled to the toughest SA side ever.

Today Shakib got his 4th career 5-fer against test class opposition, and all the in span of 2 months.

One of the most underrated bowlers in the whole world. He's come good against and only against Test class teams. (Hope WI and NZ still classify :ph34r:)

Wonder if he'll turn out to be a Heath Streak/Andy Flower kind of character. If he can keep up this sort of form/quality, he might turn into another really good player relegated to playing for an ultimately weak team for his entire career. Still, Bangladesh might just sneak a handful of victories and maybe a series or two during his career.

Shakib is outstanding. Really rate him highly with both bat and ball. Would make a decent captain too IMO.
