Should'nt Shaun Marsh be playing test cricket? or are there better openers in Australian Domestic Cricket ? The way Hayden is going, it looks like he should get a go atleast in SA.

I think Aussi will be bowled out for under 320.

Good strong start from Safrica.
Depends on how the tail will go. SA'cans bowlers didnt prove all that great against the Aussie tail in the Perth test, also clarke still there and lee is no mug with the bat. But yes, SA certainly on top.

Australia atm are really struggling with their bowling line up. They need Lee to get back some sort of form. johnson is fine. Siddle is still finding his feet in International Cricket. I dont think hauritz would make much of a difference for the SA'can batsmen. Lee and johnson are the key. If they both find some form, there is some hope for the Australians. SA do have a very strong batting line-up, probably one of the best in the world, lead by a determined captain.

That fact that Shaun Marsh isn't an opening batsman in the longer form is probably the reason tbh.

Hussey unfortunate? Was a reasonable bit of bowling but pretty ordinary play by him too, in the lead-up and to the dismissal. Let's not give him a free pass. Though, his shot wasn't as egregious as Hayden and Symonds particularly.
All Symonds did wrong was not middle it - t'was a pus-filled half tracker a foot outside off tbh. Though if his knee's crook and he can't bowl, there's no way in hell he's in the top 6 batsmen in the country.

Interesting selection - we took 14 wickets last game and they've stuck with the same attack save the spinner, who's been replaced by someone the selectors have admitted is less likely to take wickets. Obviusly Santa didn't bring Hilditch a brain for Christmas.

Gambling that class will come through in the end. Brett Lee is better than what he's shown so far.

Ohh..I though he was one in the longer form as well. My bad. But still with the options like Phil Jacques, i guess he's worth a try. Did look like the guy had genuine talent. Katich is doing good atm and looks good for a long run.

Great cameo from Lee, those high octane performances can really ignite the tail.

Then again, you know Johnson is gonna come out and play quality shots.
