Got no problem with variety, unles that variety is in the form of consistently poor posting and people who join looking for fights (IMO).

Not every body's first language is english so for a non english speaker there command on expressing themselves in English will suffer if they have not received a good quality schooling in the said language.

If he grew up in Port Chalmers, Otago, - as he said on another thread - English should well and truly be his first language. Unless, of course, he learned to speak and read from the Russian seamen (:naughty:) on the fishing trawlers that stop at Port Chalmers.
