Looks like the whole Portsmouth team (or it's best players anyway) will be sold off in January if Lauren is to believed. Apparently the man himself reckons he is off to either Turkey or Greece to ply his trade. Not sure what somebody like Matt would make of this, but sort of not unexpected IMO.

Champions League draw. Some absolute crackers in there, personally looking forward to Real/p00l and Manc's taking on Inter.

Villareal finish second in the group and get Panathinaikos, Manyoo finish first and get Inter. Irony.

I think Lauren himself will be off, but this outburst struck me as petulant, a sort of revenge act against the club for not giving him many games. I wouldn't read much into it.

If Lauren wants to play more often, he should try not being **** every time he does play, that might help.

Wafer Cup looking interesting as well. Milan vs. Werder the obvious match of the round, though Ajax vs. Viola should be a top notch contest as well. Very happy to get Copenhagen, could have been much much worse (though we'll lose anyway, no doubt).

Yea best i think i've seen in years i think. The European clash of this year would have been United vs Madrid though, too bad Madrid are injury ragged, below par & are likely to loose to Liverpool.

Maureen, ffs, make us marginal favourites but the draw could have been better from our point of view. Agree though, there are some cracking ties.

Best draw ive seen for years, in terms of the neutral spectator of course, pretty tough draw for English teams but if they all get through could be embarrassing for European power brokers. Platini would be satisfied if a couple fall

Anyway, my return to Oldham nearly got postponed but decided that Oldham-Leyton Orient was more important than going to visit my newborn nephew
