There is only Dhoni left now with Yuvraj likely to last 2 or 3 overs at most with spin at both ends.
Still over 160 runs to get... more like 90-10 is England's favour.
Lol, theres no way its 90-10 8-) , more like 60-40 in England's favour

In the break, an expert (someone named Kannan, I don't know about him) labelled Dravid as 'excess baggage' and said that if India lose this match, he may lose his place. That made for some studio heat.

I wonder why questions are asked only about the selection Dravid and not of Yuvraj, when Dravid is clearly a far better and more reliable batsman.

I guess after his ODI hundreds, he deserved a chance. I'd keep both Dravid and Yuvraj for the next test. I know it's hard to justify that, but I think you need more than ONE test to attempt to make a mark. If he fails in both tests, axe him. Dravid too.

I was probaly exaggerating a little but surely its no way 50-50 from here.
Like been said yuvraj won't last more than few overs :p
Well, heres the silly thing, if these two do put on 60 runs (as unlikely as your suggesting), most will then say India are favorites again with 100 runs & 6 wickets in hand, so for me its far to simplistic to suggest 90-10 in Eng's favor. I honestly think 60-40 in Englands favor at this point.

Maybe because Dravid has been playing crap for past year and half and has done little of notworthy in that time. We've been assuming that its only a matter of time before Dravid will be back in form... match after match have gone in that hope and Dravid doesn't look like scoring runs.
Lets be honest this is only Yuvraj's first test since return.. i don't like Yuvraj and don't agree with his selection in the team but don't see why he should be getting more flake than Dravid.

Dravid's is a touchy issue, and I'd prefer they keep him for the next Test. Dravid is Dravid. Yuvraj is a waste of space. Dravid holds on his number three position despite his wretched run of form. Yuvraj bats nowhere above six and doesn't bowl enough overs. He's neither scoring runs nor taking wickets, and on a flat pitch, he's redundant. Yet daggers are out for Dravid, time and again, while a polite nudge now and then comes for Yuvraj. You can't have specialist batsmen scoring in bits and pieces.

70-30 in my opinion... but yeah one partnership can change it all. :)

Dravid is held back by lack of runs lately, but he adds a lot more value to his place in the team. Yuvraj, in comparison, adds absolutely no value, especially when the pitch is batsman-friendly. Nine times out of ten, you'd expect Dravid to play an innings that can change the course of a match. Let's not forget his innings of 50 that saved the team in Bangalore. We can't expect such a match-saving or match-winning innings from Yuvraj.

Whether Dravid gets another match or not will depend on whether India wins or not.
I do hope Dravid gets at least another match and he comes out of this slump.

Yuvraj playing with some intent.. lets hope i haven't jinxed him now.

Your comments on Harmison's little appeal? It looked polite, in comparison to some terribly loud and dramatic appeals from the spinners.

Erm.. because Yuvraj has only just been recalled, and hasn't even got out in the second innings yet!

I don't rate Yuvraj and I don't think he should have been picked, but selecting someone for one Test and then dropping them is height of absurdity. Obviously this doesn't apply if they were picked for the conditions or were an injury replacement, but this isn't the case with Yuvraj - he's been picked as a long term option. Whether you agree with his selection or not (I certainly don't) dropping him immediately would be ridiculous.
