Broom should make the ODI team ahead of Styris now though.
Feel sorry for Greg Hay. Two magnificent seasons,unlucky not to make the Black Caps and now he's lost form with Black Caps spots dissappearing fast. He'll be back though, too much class not to be held down for long. He'll make a nice big hundred on a greentop in front of Bahnz, get roundly abused by Bahnz, then get an ODI call up follwed by a test call up....to open, where he'll fail and get abused as over-rated.

I wonder if this Guptill guy has a chance to be chosen for Napier. If there was anywhere in the world you would want to make your debut it would be there. And his hundred is perfect timing, especially if How gets knocked over for a low score. I really hope he gets picked.

26.4. Im not against the guy, I hope he improves but Im not sure how long the selectors will persevere with him if he doesnt get a big score soon. I thought this Guptill might have a chance of replacing How because they wouldnt really dump McIntosh after one game, so iif someone was going to go it would be how.

Yeah, he did well over there but he averaged 37 in the end, which isnt exceptional, just good. I hope he gets better but Ive been hoping for a long time and nothing much has changed. Maybe this innings.
