A hundred today when he is 46 at tea and ND are 135/4? That may be asking a bit much, though, it is a long session.Nice innings from Williamson so far, but he needs to go on and post a hundred today.
He's been dropped. As long as Sherlock doesn't throw his highly over-rated pies we'll be alright.
The earlier you start, the more play you can get in before bad light stops play.Bad light at the Basin?
Does a bit of damage to the argument against the 12pm start in Dunedin.
lol, thats not really knowledge.Wow, I'm so impressed with my own cricket knowledge sometimes. This morning I said that Kane would get a first class ton within a week, and look what happens!
He gets out for 98?Wow, I'm so impressed with my own cricket knowledge sometimes. This morning I said that Kane would get a first class ton within a week, and look what happens!
****. Massively jinxed. Woops.

Haha, well theres a classic case of speaking a bit too soon! Another very promising knock by the sounds of it from Williamson though, given the position ND were in at four down for about 70.He gets out for 98?
Congrats.
Yeah, give him a go as opener for the 2nd test, I say.Haha, well theres a classic case of speaking a bit too soon! Another very promising knock by the sounds of it from Williamson though, given the position ND were in at four down for about 70.
And if there's a spot available for him in the team of course. I can't see Taylor or Ryder being dropped...well...ever, Flynn seems to be making a decent fist of the number 3 role, and Big Jake will still be around next year to slot in at number 6. In spite of all our crappy recent form, in a couple of years time it might be very difficult for a youngster like Williamson to force his way into the national side. One more season after this season of FC cricket, and if he does well and gets a few tons under his belt, then give him a gig in the National side. Perhaps only in the ODI's to start. I reckon debuting him sometime when he is near 20 would be a good idea...if he continues performing of course.
Yeah, that's the main reason I said probably only in the ODI team to start. There is always opportunities for players in the OD form of the game whether it is through rotation of injury. And if there's a spot available for him in the team of course.
