A rip off of the Aussie domestic thing, also to shift the current oT conversation in it to here, where its on topic. Basically, this thread is just to look at some good domestic XIs from around the world (you can include current internationals) for the hell of it.
e.g. Central Districts 2008
Jamie How
Peter Ingram (averaging 50 odd since recall is 2006 or so)
Brad Patton (cleaning up early in his career)
Mathew Sinclair
Ross Taylor
Jacob Oram
Bevan Griggs
Ewen Thompson (MVP in the state championship. Getting wickets on flat tracks)
Michael Mason
Richard Sherlock
Mitchell McClennaghan (he and Sherlock are probably the quickest in the country and are developing nicely)
The batting is strong enough to leave out NZ A batsman Greg Hay, who averages 50+. Only Wellington and possibly Auckland with their ICL players back would back themselves to beat CD out of the NZ teams.
Predict some freakishly good WI 80s teams.
