The only thing England are likely to win this afternoon is the Haka..

Toby Flood has the same surname as my girlfriend and I'm struggling to work out who the better kicker is..

Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Only Carter's (suprising) uslessness with the boot kept us in it for 60 minutes. As soon as NZ scored it was a procession.

Fair play to the Taffs tho.

Something worse than England's performances this autumn?

Shane Williams' facial hair.

**** me, that's silly money. Especially in light of the western world's financial system imploding.

Not looking forward to today at all, meanwhile. Could get ugly.
The problem is that Giteau wants to play in the 2011 WC (and is still contracted to the ARU to that time), so unless the ARU is prepared to let him play in France and for the Wallabies then it is no deal to Bayonne or the ARU.

How much is Dan Carter on BTW?

I'm surprised the English posters haven't been discussing the four yellow cards they received - as if playing the best team in the world after coming off a hiding the previous week wasn't going to be difficult enough. I thought Flood's yellow card was definitely deserved and the final sin binning of the replacement loose forward was a fair enough call but the others were debatable and certainly a more leniant referee would've kept 15 English players on the field for a lot longer than Rolland.

Muliana was absolutely superb IMO and along with Cowan, McCaw and Mealamu stood out. Two tries, a good bounce away from another, absolutely solid defence and a crucial ankle tap on Easter that threatened to destroy the ABs' record of not conceeding a try in any of the four tests.

Ironically the Munster team showed the most passion and determination of any of the European sides and illustrated the right attitude when approaching the All Blacks (admittedly against a weaker New Zealand side). England and Ireland were very disappointing, Wales fell away towards the end of the second half, and Scotland, whilst surprisingly entertaining, never really threatened.

I thought Mears was perhaps a bit unlucky, Rolland had seemed to have already called "three" for Vickery's hands in the ruck but then Mears went in offside & he was the one to be carded. However Borthwick had been warned at least three times for our persistent infringements before, so it was probably one of those cumulative discisions where a player carries the can for the sins of his team mates.

Aside from him, no real complaints. Rolland's always been strict to the point of pedantry but we've been reffed by him several times before & he is consistent. Players know where they stand, so I blame them rather than the ref. Haskell is a walking liability anyway, so it was fairly short odds he'd end up cooling his heels for a spell; the only surprise was it was for something as utterly bone-headed (even by his low standards) as a swinging arm.

If the Druids keep up with being good, then SA have got a tough draw in 2011.. Especially seeing as all our players will probably be in Europe playing club money for £££££

About the best draw we could've had, really. Maybe swap Scotland for Italy or one of the other third seeds, but happy to avoid the Tri-Nations.

With Samoa likely to be the Oceania qualifier, pool D looks the toughest. I don't think any of the other number one and two seeds in Pools A, B and C will be that unhappy with their draws. I'm pleased at New Zealand's pool - France, which should produce a tough encounter, Tonga, who showed in 2007 their potential to perform on the world stage, and probably Canada, who I'd imagine will be stronger than the fourth seed in the AB's 2007 pool in the form of Romania. At least there should be no issue of being underdone this time around heading into the knock out matches.

Was awesome to watch the 7's last night and see a guy playing for NZ that I've played rugby with. Big future ahead of him.

Who was that? I hear South Africa won the final after a tighthead in the scrum in the last few minutes, good start to the season for them.
