I smell cow poo. It existed for a hundred years without India and it can exist for a hundred more without them.India is very much the cricket epicentre and it simply cannot sustain without India.

Oh yes, it will. But not in the scale as it is now.I smell cow poo. It existed for a hundred years without India and it can exist for a hundred more without them.
To be fair I doubt it's ever been more popular here than football.Oh yes, it will. But not in the scale as it is now.
Why don't you sit back a but and give it a thought how it'd be in 10 years from now without India instead of making such motherhood statements?\\
Fact is during much of its period. cricket was the No.1 game in England and Australia, but now it is no more so. Oh, it will survive in all those lancashire leagues and county cricket, and the ocassional Ashes. But that will be it.
I feel your pain.*Sigh*, the NBA and Premiership football have never looked better to me than they do now.
You do realize that there is a strong possibility that the terrorists in question were all Pakistani and were trained by groups that have supporters in the Pakistani military establishment. Obviously this needs to be proven a little more, so far there is just pieces such as a terrorist captured live and cell phone records.I don't want them to tour. I think it would be unbelievably, grossly and disgustingly unfair on Pakistan, the players and the players' families to do so.
Not interested mate. If this be the case, there is a very large difference between a security cover provided by the Indian establishment and that provided by the Pakistani establishment.
BTW also check the OT thread for strong connections between the PCB establishment and one of the mafia dons wanted by Interpol for terror attacks on Mumbai.
Sorry, then. Your use of the word "fair" had me fooled into thinking that you cared about such things. I do hope that not everybody shares your apathy. Not interested mate. Try next door.
Suits me fine..Oh yes, it will. But not in the scale as it is now.

I wonder if cricketers today would remain cricketers if it wasn't as lucrative anymore...Suits me fine..
Would you tour if you were an English cricketer?Yep, it would.
And countries not touring Pakistan, same as this, is a crying shame for the game.
I hate to see terrorists get what they're aiming for (even if teams refusing to tour India\Pakistan is hardly a top priority). Sadly, the threat of having your life taken is a powerful one for which there can be no absolute protection.
The biggest worry is that neither situation is likely to improve any time soon.
Problem is this time around, terrorists have targeted British and Americans specifically. What has suddenly changed the security scenario in india..this is not first of its kind attack in india....when england was currently touring india they were give protection givne to the visitng state of heads rite ..all the gorunds had security persons cheking for bombs even when the game was going on near the boundry lines. there is no more higher security that can be provided for the english team ....
i can understand if a player dont want to travel or not...but ECB should not call off the series..and if any player is not coming on tour i hope he wont be coming for IPL also
What has changed this time is that the places attacked were/are the ones these players would stay at, dine at. That there were rumors of these terrorists specifically asking for people who had British/us passport. What has suddenly changed the security scenario in india..this is not first of its kind attack in india....when england was currently touring india they were give protection givne to the visitng state of heads rite ..all the gorunds had security persons cheking for bombs even when the game was going on near the boundry lines. there is no more higher security that can be provided for the english team ....

i wont take into that ....thing is that they are already provided the best security that can be given for them...why are they provided that because they already had the fear that they could be attcked ...so what does this attck change the security perception ....if they dont tour i dont think they can tour india again at all...what will be the reason for them to tour again, india have suddenly become safe ..when these kind of attck has been going on for last 5-10 yearsWhat has changed this time is that the places attacked were/are the ones these players would stay at, dine at. I dont think one can blame ECB or anyone for taking the decision against touring India anytime soon.
