You really are Grapedo, aren't you?well i never said cricketers were intelligent, although more intelligent than footballers.
jane mcgrath was a pommie airline hosty for crying out loud, and glenn mcgrath was country trailer trash
Probably tried to get Grapedo's autograph but was denied. If he's not, has to be a close relation.
You're off in your own little world, aren't you? Grapedoland.so jane mcgrath wasn't an airline hosty and mcgrath wasn't a beefhead fast bowler living in a caravan ?
i must have been lying to get a response like that
anyhow
Yip, definitely grapedo.so jane mcgrath wasn't an airline hosty and mcgrath wasn't a beefhead fast bowler living in a caravan ?
U woz robbed!!!!!!!!!!!!Hate it when you play a decent shot and you hit it to the tallest bloke in the world.
Played a game a few years back in thirds and was 75, smashed a straight drive back over the bowler and this guy who was 6'9'' (now plays basketball over in Perth I think, for the Wildcats) plucked it out of the air on the jump. Was a damned six, I tell you!
'd33d.U woz robbed!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saw it on highlights this morning. Don't think there was ever a run there, so I think Hayden must take some blame for the initial duff call, but the only way they might possibly have made it is if both had gone straight away and Katto didn't respond, so must carry the can for mine. It's the sort of horlicks you seem to get when batsmen don't really trust their partner's calling. Hayden's call & he was going to the danger end, so Katich should've responded straight away.Reckon Katich should have gone as soon as it had passed Vettori. Was never going to stop Hayden from taking it on.
Can't really blame him though. Have run out the non-striker like that myself. They waited for it to pass the bowler then didn't make it to the other end.
Katich 60%
Hayden 40%
Have to admit I've never really rated him as Ganguly-bad or Hussey-good, but Hayden does seem to have had a couple of run-outs since Katich became his opening partner. Might be coincidence, but might also suggest a trust issue between them too.Katich is one of the most committed runners I've ever seen, puts other guys to shame.
If he's one of the best seamers I'd play him, regardless. It's not like O'Brien or Southee (one session of glorious slogging aside) are exactly reincarnations of Bradman either. Playing all three does give a long tail tho, yes.In regard to Martin, can you really afford to continue playing him given his batting no matter what he's doing with the ball?
From what I've seen they haven't so much been Katich's fault, seemingly more like Hayden is losing the plot just slightly in regards to his own game.Have to admit I've never really rated him as Ganguly-bad or Hussey-good, but Hayden does seem to have had a couple of run-outs since Katich became his opening partner. Might be coincidence, but might also suggest a trust issue between them too.
