McCullum scoring slowly makes me nervous.
I think its responsible - with only Southee, O'Brien and Martin to come, and a new ball due in a matter of minutes, going for your shots right at the moment isn't the right attitude IMO. Admittedly its certainly against his natural game and if Vettori goes in the next couple of overs I hope he changes his mindset slightly.

Certainly responsible but that is terribly out of character for him. How old was Gilchrist when he debuted?

Did anyone overhear Chappelli going through the NZ batting line-up in one of the ad breaks (when it's still showing in NZ) and calling them all crap?
Didn't hear that but I have heard a lot of background commentary in ad breaks today, especially during the middle session where the stump microphones seemed to be unusually quiet? Or was that just me?

Now that Slater has put Hayden down for a 100 tomorrow, I'm hoping Vettori and McCullum will take us to the last hour before declaring then a golden for Hayden.

You heard it here first.

NZ gifting the honours to AUS for the day.

To lose 6 wickets, of which 4 were just given away, is totally unacceptable.

262/4 would have still been OK, but it should really be 320/3ish.

McCullum 30 (89)?
Would love to see McCullum and Vettori grit it out tomorrow morning and then go on the offensive tomorrow avo. McCullum sure has played within himself, but they both have to play themselves in tomorrow. And, especially after the way McCullum has played, he should be disappointed not to make a big score. Vettori, at the very least, has to stick with him until sometime after lunch.

Having said that, I wont be terribly surprised if Australia are batting before lunch. :(

Australia are on top, as New Zealand were probably looking for about 350, but it doesn't look like they'll be making that.

At 101/1 at lunch New Zealand would've been eyeing a bit more than 350. Really shocking stuff from our top order.

Looks like we should be fairly happy with the score, although more to NZ's poor batting then our good bowling apparently. Another dire Adelaide pitch as well :@

What's dire about it? Big deal if it is a road, Adelaide has a good record of achieving results.

Start somehwere. I can't see where you can base such an idea from.
Little for the bowlers, easy runs for the batsmen. Boring cricket all round. Even the most amazing Adelaide match in 06/07 was only good right at the end when England decided to collectively throw their wickets away.[FONT=&quot]
