Excellent news, thrilled with this tbh, just worry that it's placing too much responsibility on the shoulders of a very young player. But a bold move like this is exactly what the club needs if it's to sort itself out, looks like Gallas is also well on his way out now.
Inevitable that will happen but numbers wise the squad getting smaller can't a good thing, especially in one of the two biggest problem areas in the squad. If he can regain some focus and start performing as well as he can then he's undroppable from the starting XI for mine.

Spoken like a true Tottenham fan.
Well yes it might be wishful thinking, but I can't see Fabregas staying at Arsenal for the long term. Sure he may love the club and enjoy playing at the Emirates, but once his childhood club Barcelona come knocking what's he going to do? I would like to draw a parallel with Robbie Keane here.

Never said he wouldn't, was just pointing out that it was of course a Tottenham fan to quickly make that point.

Don't see why it's a prerequisite for a midfielder to get goals anyway, sure it's a nice bonus but I couldn't care less if they scored none, as long as they were doing the rest of their job right. Not their job to score goals, IMO.

Very annoyed, should of won tonight and the missed pen is so frustrating.

Got to be more clinical or this season could easily just drift into mid-table obscurity. Which I wouldn't of minded at the start of the season, but my sig seems apt, at the moment.

Could easily be in the top three now, yet we're on the fringe of the play-offs.

Hardly classic fron The Arsenal tonight, but ultimately successful. I'll even allow Bendtner his pink boots if he scores.

Ted Drake never wore pink boots tho, but.

Oh BTW, any thought on the Iain Hume situation folks? I don't wanna say much on it as he is one of my favourite players in the game and as such I could go on and on about it. But your opinions would be welcomed, in light of the FA's decision today that Morgan, the player responsible, cannot be charged for his malice. Yet a manager comes out and says "the ref was poor today" and gets a fine or a touchline ban, nice 8-)

Using the elbow is a ****'s trick and apperently Morgan has "previous" is this area, or so I read.

I imagine Hume will bring a civil case now.

Yeah, Barnsley are exploring it apparently. It's not even like the **** was jumping for the ball. But you can't ban a player if he's received a yellow card, apparently. ****, should be banned for life.

Form of last season shows he can score goals on a regular basis.

Quite obviously missing the Steven Gerrard comparison with his match winning goals.

Would be nice if Anderson would score one though.
