Southee was obviously tired from his first innings bowling. But if New Zealand win I can buy several cartons of piss to drown my sorrows.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say New Zealand will win this. The pitch is flattening out and if they bat sensibly, only one person needs to play an anchor innings to get them home. Also they definitely can't let Johnson get wickets, that is unforgivable, they need to hammer him to smithers so that way we only have 2 bowlers effectively.

This what I hate, you can get ***** like Hayden and Ponting out cheaply and have Australia reeling but you can't also get douchebags like Johnson and Clarke out cheaply. Why?

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
I can see us bettering out first innings effort, possibly make 250, but it will take a lot of effort, determination and skill which the top order will have to go the extra distance in terms of how they play. Taylor and How especially.

It's disappointing that the second-highest score posted in Australia's second innings was posted by the second-to-last batsman.

Lots of 'seconds' there.

three hundred is too hard of a task for a weak new zealand side to chase especially when the last time they chased three hundred was back in arrr.....1994.
