Nah, I think Badri deserves a chance ahead of Rohit. He's a proven FC performer, while Rohit is a greenhorn, and at this stage, slightly over rated. Okay, Badri might turn out to be the next Graeme Hick too, but he's a guy who's put in the years on the domestic circuit deserves a shot now. I also don't see anything wrong with Vijay making his debut before Badri or Rohit. He was the in form opener, and replaced a banned opener. Srikkanth doesn't deserve these implications of regionalism, unless these people think Ganguly (who recommended Vijay to Kris) is from Tamil Nadu toosorry i agree with getingbetter there...for the bad thing selectors have givne to badri immediatly after srikkanth took over badri was in the team..and vijay was not even heard by anyone and was selected he turned out to be good selection but if he had not succeded the same allegation might had come up
For me it should be rohit sharma its time we had some one ready to replace sachin .i dont understand peopl saying he is not ready what is he supposed to do know ..play more first calss cricket tendulkar was only 16 when is played his first test if he rohit is good enough he will be ready now
