I think the logic with bringing Clarke in is okay, personally.

He's sick, which means batting for a long time might be out of the question, but he can throw his bat with a runner there and maybe get us ahead of the rate a bit. Hussey can bat with the tail also. It's a fairly attacking move, which is fine, even two down we still may as well push for the win.

Banging on on the radio about a 7 minute drinks break, no wonder over rates are slow, etc.
Of course, when they lifted the rate yesterday by bowling PTers, they gave it to them.
Media, thy name is inconsistency.
Not really. The drinks break is too long, and captains don't do enough to keep everything moving, and when they fall behind, it's ridiculous to use Hussey when you have a chance to set up a chasable total.

Seriously can't believe people are complaining about Clarke having a runner. It's a recipe for a shambles when you're batting and he's one of the faster and fitter players around.
Point is, he really wouldn't have on eunless he thought he needed one. It's not like he's old and fat, like me. I'd like a runner every week :).

Thing with Pontings run-out, he does that so often, but is generally lucky enough/picks the right fielders. Obviously, stupidest thing ever in the current situation, did not at all choose the right time.

External injury?

All that matters is that whatever you are suffering from occurred during the course of the match.

Clarke became ill during the match, so he is quite within his rights to use a runner
So if Clarke is so sick what are the team management trying to achieve by promoting him in the batting order...??

the difference between india and aus will be more noticable around tea...yesterday aus was 9 overs down ...but bet me india will be not be more than 4-5 ovesr down by tea which you can easly make up in 30 extra minutes ....

but ya generally 10 ovesr an hour is very poor
