***Official Australia in India***

I still can't believe that Australia have sacrificed a chance of victory in this test (which they definately had a chance at tea) to avoid a big fine or suspension for Ponting but can't think of another explanation.

That was hilarious Haddin threw his glove at a ball getting away from him

42.2 Watson to Tendulkar, no run, hits the deck around back of length and moves to hit the hips and it rolls to the leg side and Haddin runs along and throws his left glove at the ball to stop it !! The umpires are having a chat. Now Bowden talks to Ponting and signals it as penalty of five runs

Chris broad went into the Aussie dressing room and let ponting know that a suspension is on the cards for being 10 overs behind. Gutless...
That can't be correct surely Chris Broad only victimises Asian teams & players I can't believe for 1 second that he would punish a non Asian team:unsure:

Hilarious day of cricket.

Haddin's glove throwing + Indian collapse out of nowhere + Overthrows when Krezja has his hat in his hand + Ponting being an idiot = ridiculously weird.

It is a @##$$# ridiculous situation made all the worse because the whole limited number of over thing was only introduced so that the paying spectator wasnt short-changed

Given that there is no crowd and the game has effectively been ruined, this makes no sense whatsoever

Wasn't really only for the "paying" spectator.

The TV companies would be behind the push for more and more action as well. More overs generally result in more happening in a day, better product, more chances for advertising, etc.
