Anyone know of a rule which says Ponting might be banned for tomorrow's play if the over-rate continues? Has to be the only reason why he'd worry about being banned for a Test with NZ the next opponents.

Yeah, agreed really. Even if he missed two Tests which would be the absolute harshest penalty I could imagine being given, it'd be worth it for mine.

Wow this is a bit of a cop out from the Punter. I could easily have seen a Lee or jonson or watson from one end and krejza from the other cleaning up the tail..

I feel sad for the spectators for having to watch white and huss have a bowl. Ponting falls to newer lows. How sad for all the aussie fans.
